What happens in vegas, don’t always stay in vegas!

Okidoki, let’s talk about what happened in Vegas! Me and my Boyfriend spent a week in vegas in march, to attend the largest photography convention in the world for wedding and portrait photographers, WPPI! It’ was my second time in USA and in Vegas!

The convention had a platform part and a exhibit part.. The platform part was basically seminars where chosen photographers from all around the world got to tell their story.

The exhibit part was a exhibit for vendors in the photography business, and you could find EVERYTHING there! My goal with the exhibit was to find a album company, and yes, I found some album companies.. Like 50 of them ;-) As you might have guessed it was CRAZY in there and on top of that, try to squeeze in 14,000 photographers in there as well! Not such a good idea! Enough about that, you get the picture, it was INSANE!

So, let’s talk about the platform classes! This was basically the reason we went to WPPI in the first place, and yes, I am so happy we did! Who can say no to the opportunity to learn from the best and be inspired? I did attend 9 classes, but I wont be talking about all of them here!

The first class I attended was Jesh de Rox and his platform! When I stepped into the doors to the class, I didn’t have a clue what to expect. I knew that Jesh was an amazing photographer, and that’s it!
When Jesh started to speak there was something about his way of speaking that touched me. He talked so passionate about his work and his clients, and you could tell he was speaking from his heart! And it didn’t take long until i started to cry! I cried for two hours straight, and then I cried some more when I meet Rikard after the class! The main reasons for the crying part was that Jesh was telling us about how he used photography as a form of therapy for his clients. Most of his clients are couples that have been together for a while, and maybe they’ve lost faith in their love to each other! What Jesh do is to make the couple fall in love all over again, and then the pictures will be there as a reminder to the couple about how strong their love is! He showed us emails from his former clients, and here’s where the crying started. The emails was filled with so much love, happiness and gratitude and I can’t explain how touching it was to read all their AMAZING words!

So, the reason I felt so strongly about all this is because this is EXACTLY what I want my photography business to be about. I want to help people fall in love, I want to help them understand the beauty that lies behind the thick walls that they build up against their soulmate. I always loved working with people and I’m very passionate about therapy and life coaching. That’s why I can’t think about a better way of combining my love for photography with my love to people and well-being! Hear Jesh tell us that we could start changing the world, start help people stay together instead of going separate ways, start making the world fall in love again made me feel so happy, in love and most of all thankful for Jesh who shared his experience with us!

So, how will this reflect on my business? From now on, I will be offering Adorable LOVE sessions which is exactly what I’ve been talking about in this post.

Adorable LOVE is a couples session where we together with games and exercises will explore and rediscover what love really is about. You will be captured by love, and in the mean time, me and my camera will capture it!
So who can do this Adorable LOVE session? Everyone can do it! It doesn’t matter if you have been together for a long while or if you just meet! You can never get to much love, and I’m recommending it to all my former and new clients!

But this isn’t something that just will be in one of my sessions, no, this is something that will be reflected in all my work. I need to fully work with this belief and that’s why all of my couples and other clients will be a part of this trip, in one way or another!

And because a post isn’t a post without a picture, here is one from last weeks Adorable LOVE session!
